Morton's of Chicago has moved from its small quarters at the Fashion Show mall to its own stand-alone building at
400 E. Flamingo Road. No radical changes have been made in either the menu or the decor, which will come as no surprise to those who have eaten at the popular steakhouse elsewhere, whether in Beverly
Hills, Calif., or Singapore. There's still the same soft lighting and dark-wood interior with the LeRoy Neimans on the walls and the full bar. And there's still the same menu, with its emphasis on
steaks, of course. Las Vegas golf That's because the Morton's Restaurant Group goes for consistency across the board, no matter where its restaurants are located. "The menu is very simple,
very basic, but it's been the same since Morton's opened in 1978," says maitre d' and general manager Daniel Hurst. "Morton's is all about quality and consistency. When you go to Morton's, you
know what you're going to get." What you get is a high-end steakhouse that features white-aproned and black bow-tied waiters who wheel carts to each table where they present a verbal version of
the menu with cuts of meat and fish in Saran Wrap as visual aids. After the spiel, you can look at a paper version to order from. The steakhouse chain was founded in 1978 by Chicago restaurateur
Arnie Morton. Allen Bernstein bought the chain in 1989 and has expanded it from nine venues to the more than 50 that are open today. Las vegas golf On the a la carte menu, overseen here by chef Lee
